Marketing for law firms

Clients pick a solicitor on trust. We build the brand, the pages and the systems that earn it, then make sure the AI tools name you when people ask.

01 / What you need

  • SRA-aware copy, with transparency and complaints information built in
  • A page for every practice area, written around the questions clients ask
  • Solicitor profile pages with consistent, professional photography
  • Review management across Google and the review sites clients check
  • Every enquiry tracked in a CRM, by practice area and by source
  • Visibility in AI search for niche legal questions
  • Content your lawyers can put their names to: insights, podcasts, event news

The website is the first meeting

Most people only need a solicitor a few times in their life. They ask friends, they search, and now they ask ChatGPT. Then they read the profile of the person who'll handle their matter, and decide.

So a law firm's website can't be a brochure. Every practice area needs its own page that answers the questions clients actually ask. Every solicitor needs a proper profile with a proper photo.

What we did for Ansons Law

We've worked with Ansons Law across the Midlands on a rebrand, signage, a HubSpot CRM and a full HubSpot website: practice area and sector pages, solicitor profiles with new full-colour photography, office pages and an Insights blog.

Over 90 days, visitors who came from ChatGPT became enquiries at 10.3%, against 0.78% from organic search. In a September 2026 check, Google's AI Overview named Ansons first for niche searches such as "pharmacy solicitors".

Built for the rules you work under

Legal marketing has rules. The SRA transparency rules ask for price and service information on work like conveyancing, probate and employment tribunal claims, plus your complaints procedure and the SRA digital badge. We build them into the site from the start, not bolt them on later.

We write carefully, too. No promised outcomes, no claims you can't stand behind, and nothing goes live until a solicitor has read it.

Enquiries you can follow

Every enquiry lands in your CRM, tagged by practice area and source. Partners can see what came in, where it came from and what it turned into. No more guessing which marketing works.

For a bigger firm with a sales team, that might be HubSpot, which we set up and look after. For a smaller practice, it's often your own CRM, built round your practice areas and your stages, with no per-seat fees.

04 / Questions

Fair questions.

Q1Do you understand the SRA rules on marketing?

We know the parts that touch your website and your marketing: the transparency rules on price and service information, complaints information, the SRA digital badge and the ban on misleading claims. We build those in from day one. Your compliance lead still signs off every word, and they should.

Q2Will our solicitors have to write everything themselves?

No. We write the practice area pages and the profiles, talk to your people where it helps, and send drafts for checking. Your solicitors read and approve. They don't start from a blank page.

Q3Is AI search worth it for a law firm?

For niche work, very much so. People ask ChatGPT and Google's AI Overview who handles pharmacy sales or manufacturing disputes, and those tools name one or two firms, not ten. For Ansons Law, ChatGPT enquiries converted at 10.3% over 90 days.
