Where we work / Derby
Marketing for Derby businesses
Derby is a city of makers and engineers. We're a small studio 25 minutes away that builds brands and websites with the same care.
Engineering and rail
Derby has been building trains since the 1840s, and the city's engineering base runs deep. Toyota's plant at Burnaston sits just off the A38, and around all of it is a long supply chain of specialist firms selling to demanding buyers.
For those businesses a website isn't decoration. It's the first check a procurement team makes, so it has to be clear, current and credible.
Pride Park to the Cathedral Quarter
Pride Park is home to a lot of the city's offices, car dealerships and professional firms. In the centre, the Cathedral Quarter, Sadler Gate and Friar Gate are full of independents: bars, shops, salons and studios that live on footfall and good word of mouth.
Two very different kinds of business, with one thing in common. People look them up before they turn up.
FlowFloor
Our Derby work so far is FlowFloor, a flooring company in the city. We built the brand from scratch: logo, stationery, icons, business cards, trailer graphics and site signs. Then a HubSpot website to match, so everything they put in front of a customer looks like one firm.

Fair questions.
Q1Why use a studio outside Derby?
We're 25 minutes away, so meeting in person is easy. For that short drive you get two senior people doing the work, no account managers, and prices on the website.
Q2Can we meet in person?
Yes. We'll come to you in Derby, or you can come out to the studio in Hanbury. Parking's easy and the tea's decent.
Q3Do you work with engineering and manufacturing firms?
Yes. We write technical work in plain English that buyers can follow, and your engineers check the detail. Our construction and flooring work is a good example: specialist firms selling to demanding buyers.
