Spec S4 / SEO & AI search

Be the answer when they ask the AI.

People now ask ChatGPT, Google's AI Overviews and Perplexity who to use. We make sure your business is the one they name.

01 / What it is

People don't just search any more. They ask.

And the AI gives one answer, not ten blue links. If it doesn't know you, it names someone else. Making sure it knows you is called answer engine optimisation, or AEO, and it's why we work as an AEO agency for UK businesses, not just another SEO shop.

We make you easy to find and easy to trust: clean technical SEO, structured data, pages that answer real questions, llms.txt, consistent listings everywhere you appear, and a monthly check of what the AI tools actually say.

Almost no Midlands agency sells this properly. We do, and we've got the numbers from our own clients to show for it. Visitors from ChatGPT became enquiries at 10.3%, against 0.78% from organic search, over 90 days.

It's still good SEO underneath, and we do the Google side properly for businesses across Staffordshire and the Midlands too.

  • C

02 / Process

Four steps. Then on to the next job.

  1. Check what the AI tools say about you now.

We ask the questions your customers ask, and write down who gets named.

  2. Fix the foundations.

Technical SEO, schema and listings, so machines know exactly who you are and where.

  3. Write the pages that answer the questions.

Plain, useful, question-led pages. Written for people first, and easy for AI to quote.

  4. Check monthly and report what moved.

A short, honest report. What changed, what didn't, what we're doing next.

04 / Questions

Fair questions.

Q1How much does AI search optimisation cost?

Most people start with our AI search visibility audit, £750 fixed, delivered within 5 working days. If you want us to do the work after that, the Search Plan starts from £600 a month, with a 3-month minimum, then rolling month to month. Start it within 30 days of the audit and the audit fee comes off.

Q2Isn't this just SEO with a new name?

Partly, and that's the point. The foundations are the same good SEO. The difference is what we write for and what we check: the questions people ask ChatGPT, not just the words they type into Google, and what the AI tools actually say about you each month.

Q3What is llms.txt, and do we need one?

A short plain text file on your site that tells AI tools who you are, what matters and where to find it. Think of it as a sitemap for machines that read. It's quick to do, so we add it as standard.

Q4Can you guarantee ChatGPT will recommend us?

No, and be wary of anyone who says they can. What we can do is make you the clearest, best-evidenced answer in your field, then check every month and show you what moved.

Q5What does a ChatGPT SEO agency actually do?

We find out what ChatGPT and the other AI tools say when someone asks for a business like yours, then work on the things they rely on: a clear, well-structured website, pages that answer real questions, structured data, and the same details on every listing. Then we check again every month.

Q6Do you still do ordinary Google SEO?

Yes. It shares the same foundations: technical fixes, useful pages and local listings. For Trent Construction we grew their service and sector content from 4.3k to 23.7k words across 16 pages, so each service has a page of its own to be found for.
