Marketing for food and farm

You rear it, make it or sell it properly. Your website should do the same: show where it comes from, take the order and bring people back.

01 / What you need

  • A Shopify store that handles cuts, boxes, weights and delivery
  • Clear delivery areas, click and collect and seasonal pre-orders
  • Local SEO and a Google Business Profile that's kept up to date
  • Real photography of the farm, the animals and the counter
  • Trade and wholesale pages for restaurants and caterers
  • Email that brings customers back: seasonal boxes, barbecue season, Christmas
  • A brand that works on labels, bags, vans and the shop sign

What a farm business needs online

Farm shops and butchers sell on trust and taste. People want to know where the meat comes from, when you're open, whether you deliver and what's in season. Then they want to order without ringing up.

That means a proper online shop, honest photos of the farm, and the practical stuff a lot of sites bury: opening hours, delivery areas, click and collect, Christmas orders.

Staffordshire Meats

Staffordshire Meats is a farm butchery at Spath Farm, near Uttoxeter. We designed the logo and the print, then built their Shopify store, which launched in July 2026: the online shop, delivery information, a wholesale and catering page for trade customers, and a page for the café on the farm.

We look after the SEO as well, so the store is set up to be found when people nearby search for a butcher.

More than one business on the farm

Plenty of farms now run a shop, a café, a venue and a trade side. Each one needs its own page and its own reason to visit, under one brand that holds it all together.

04 / Questions

Fair questions.

Q1Shopify or something else for a farm shop?

For most farm shops and butchers, Shopify. It handles boxes, weights, delivery rules and payments, and you can run it yourself day to day. We set it up so adding this week's specials takes minutes, not a phone call to us.

Q2Can you help with Christmas orders?

Yes. For most butchers it's the busiest stretch of the year. We can set up pre-order products with collection dates, a clear cut-off, and emails that go out early enough to fill the order book.

Q3We're a small farm. Can we afford this?

A brand identity starts from £1,500 and a 5-page website on Shopify from £3,000, so you can do one at a time. Our Launchpad puts brand, website and CRM together from £4,950. A bigger online shop takes more setting up, so we'll quote it properly after a 20-minute call. The price we give you is the price you pay.
