Marketing for clubs

People join a club for the people. Your marketing should show them who they'll meet and what's on next, and make joining take two minutes.

01 / What you need

  • An events calendar people actually check
  • Online booking and payment for events
  • Member sign-up and renewals that run themselves
  • Guest lists and check-in the team can run from a phone
  • Email that tells members what's on, without wearing them out
  • Event photography and short films for social
  • A brand that works on everything from table cards to screens

What a club needs

Clubs run on events. The website has to show what's coming up, take bookings and payments, and make it easy to become a member.

Behind it, someone has to manage guest lists, renewals and the next newsletter without drowning in spreadsheets. That part matters as much as the front end.

The Do Club

The Do Club is a members' community for business people around Staffordshire and Derbyshire. We built the brand and the event print: cards, brochures, table cards and screens.

Then a new website on Astro and Netlify, with event bookings, Stripe memberships and a dashboard the team uses to run their events, guest lists and member offers. We made the launch films too, and set the site up to be found for business networking events in the Midlands.

Guestfolk

Guestfolk is our own product: a platform for clubs and event organisers that puts events, bookings, members and guest lists in one place, under your own brand. It's the same thinking we bring to club clients, packaged so any club can use it.

Done it, for real.

04 / Questions

Fair questions.

Q1Can members pay online?

Yes. We set up Stripe for memberships and event tickets, with renewals and a customer portal, so members can update their card without emailing you.

Q2Is Guestfolk the same as a website from you?

Not quite. Guestfolk is a ready-made platform for clubs with your branding on it. A website from us is built around you from scratch. If you're not sure which fits, a 20-minute call will sort it.

Q3We run everything on spreadsheets and WhatsApp. Where do we start?

Most clubs do. We start with what you run most often, usually events and bookings, and move the rest over once that's working. Nobody has to learn everything on day one.
